First Dead Show

I can remember my first dead  shows like they were yesterday. I had been exposed to the dead and all the other things that go along with them. You know, tie dyes and the like. What did you think I meant? Jeeeesh. I know where a lot of your minds go almost instantly. But, it wasn't all about the party. The music was always at the forefront. The Big Enchilada. The most important part, you know. I fell in love with tie dyes when I first saw them. The Dead had little to do with that. Go figure. I love them so much that I still make them. You can check them out at Home - My Tie Dyes. The Dead are still an integral part of my daily life. I listen to them all the time. I am listening to my first show right now. Greensboro, NC 3-31-89. Seems so long ago, yet only yesterday. I am still a patchouli wearing psychedelic superstar.

Wecome Hippie Fools!!!!

Yes, you may have guessed it. I am a hippie fool. I love to boogie. And, I love anything involving tie dyes. Love patchouli. Gotta have nag-champa. You could say I'm a little over zealous about the whole granola brain, tree-hugging, love on another and stop being mean things. I guess I was destined to be this way. I found my dad's album collection in early high school. Led Zeppelin. Deep Purple. Pink Floyd. Gerry Rafferty. Tomita. Yeah, I even think I may have groomed for exactly just this: Being a hippie. Now I do bathe, mind you. I do, however, wear tie dyes everywhere I go. Hell, I make them. You can check them out at My Tie Dyes. I'm going to try to keep this blog a little more free and formless. Let's see what happens.
